Seller Policy

Submitting products for auction review is free during the launch phase. DeadStock does not charge a listing fee or seller commission on sales at launch unless we announce otherwise.

Submissions are not live until DeadStock approves them. We may request better photos, corrections, or reject items that violate policy, appear counterfeit, or pose risk. Approval timing depends on queue volume.

Provide clear, well-lit photos of the actual item, including flaws, size labels, and tags where relevant. Descriptions must match condition, brand, and authenticity claims. Misleading listings may be removed and accounts restricted.

If rejected, read the reason and fix issues before resubmitting. When preparing a live auction, admins may normalize auction draft fields (for example category, condition, title, starting bid, reserve, duration, or location) before publishing. Your original seller submission is kept for reference; the published listing uses the reviewed draft.

DeadStock will show key auction terms on the live listing.

Live auctions run for the published duration with 5 KWD bid increments unless otherwise stated. You may set a reserve where supported. Shill bidding or self-bidding through other accounts is prohibited.

DeadStock does not deduct a success fee from your sale at launch. Optional paid features may be offered later with separate terms.

Your contact details are not public on the listing. After a qualifying win, only the winning buyer sees your contact information you provided for transactions. Do not ask buyers to contact you off-platform before unlock.

Collect the winning bid amount directly from the buyer. Agree on pickup, meetup, or shipping yourselves. DeadStock does not verify bank transfers or provide courier at launch.

When contact unlocks, reply to the winning buyer within a reasonable time and honor the sale if reserve and rules were met. Repeated no-shows or refusals may lead to restrictions or delisting.

Sellers may also report buyers for non-payment, abuse, or false claims after unlock. Provide accurate evidence in issue reports. Admin outcomes may include warnings, restrictions, or no action.
